View attachment 1137 cos the bikes off the road while waiting for a fuel pump,i decided to make a start on throwing me new headers together
the project goes on.. i decided thet the original headders i built from mild steel were crap so i have built a whole new turbosystem.its took about three weeks ,and the last hurdle before it gets put on the bike is to get an oil filter relocationn plate made.hopefull it will be ready for custom map by next weekend. sure something will goe wrong before then tho better flowing headders and smaller turbo =brown anderpants View attachment 1198 View attachment 1199
been a bizy day ..the end is near .only got to put the rad on and change the oil .conect up the oil feed and return and clamp on the charge pipe and i am done. made up with the zorst tho ,its gona sound awesome its 63mm internal. decided to stick with the massive t3/4 turbo .dont want the power to kick View attachment 1222 View attachment 1223 View attachment 1224 before 7 thou
omg i i i i speechless love this hehe wait till ya see what Im building with a supercharger wont be anywhere near as swift as this monster but wont be bad for a 35 year old bike cudos to you mate epic this keep the pictures coming
anyway...its all finnished.the rads on and its runing smoothly.whent for a quick ride just for a shake down..see if it boosts ok and to check for leaks, alls good apart from a lot of overboost.....as soon as it hit 8000 boost shot to 10 psi and that dettonation rattle was very loud. after getting back to me garage i realised it was a schoolboy error....didnt conect the boost referance pipe to the wastegate...simple mistake which could have cost me a new engine.i will conect it up tomorow when everything has cooled down.also .put some pics when its light enough of the exhaust trim.new filter and cutting the new fairing to fit
tools required to butcher plastics View attachment 1230 View attachment 1231 View attachment 1232 View attachment 1232 everything in finnished now. all it needs is a bit of spit and polish and a trip to the dyno .spent today cutting the plastics to fit. View attachment 1234
is that not a little close to the plastics???? will it not melt? looking the biz though m8 - well impressed :shades:
these plastics are very heat resistant...it might stick to the pipe but shouldnt catch fire or distort............ i hope. if i can wangle a day off next week i will go and pay danho a visit to sort the fueling and see how many ponies i have
View attachment 1241 View attachment 1242 having a mare with boost controll ...its either 4 psi or 10+.i have a manual boost controller but it doesnt seem to work at low levels of boost.goin to buy a bleed valve controller tomorow hope this works....also water injection packed in today,,,bugger . simple wiring isue i think so its out with the soldering iron tomoz... again also the clutch started to let go when it reaches max boost so i fitted hd springs on the funky barnett plate
View attachment 1244 View attachment 1246 View attachment 1247 while i am waiting for the boost controller to be delivered by royal fail.i decided to do the fork oil seals.i bought them months ago but couldnt find the motivation to do it .the mot is next month so needs must.. got them all stripped and guess what.....? wrong seals ..ebay wankers. so i thought i was probably better off puttin genuine yammy ones in..they will be in on friday so till then it will have to look like some kind of hover bike.. check out the fork oil it looks like it came out of the sump on a diesel
