not any more it doesnt lol :(
just found another set of levers for it & new indicator lense etc, found my rear set spares kit so there's only the paint to fix, and the blister on the lowers where i forgot to fit heatproofing... im going to cut it out oval and fit some mesh for better cooling.

    sh*t happens!
thats the 3rd time ive dropped it while turning round lol [IMG]

@dayo - cheers for the bolt m8, it got me home ok :)

@mr archer.... yes m8, it's a L3 engine in decent nick, no excessive noises or slap, no leaks & good casings, pulls well to 160+ (on the track of course)
just needs shims doing & oil & filter. could do with clutch plates too but i guess you'd do all that anyway.
i have a spare one to fit with 5.5k on the clock lol [IMG]

i fell off it lol. turning round on gravel and it just went over. put my foot down and it slipped from under me! [IMG]

just had to order some new footpegs cos the one i have in my spares kit is different than the right side.
it's a m8 thread with no spigot, while the brake side has a 16x20 spigot and a m10 thread.

i'll keep the bits though and turn myself a solid set when i can get near a lathe for a hr or 2.
the harris ones are hollow and weigh about 10g - apparently they are designed like that not just for weight saving, but more so if you have an off the pegs fly off but saves the rest of the rear set intact..
so maybe if i turn some i should do the same and put a shear point in them?

i was going to try & fit some folding ones but cant find any decent ones that will go on.
fixed everything else already and flatted & primed the damaged bodywork (was only a few little scuffs)
i'll finish it off in the week, not a big job. [IMG]

Sorry to hear about the off. I had a TZR125 that I had repainted and got knocked off a week later, I was not impressed.
I have some ally pegs here I could have modified for you.
When I design rearsets I try to make them as solid as possible so that the bike would skid along on them, but on some frames it would just mean the frame lugs brake or bend.
I will be interested in the engine though. When you want rid let me know.

when i wrote it off i had just spent all week priming, spraying & lacquering new lowers, fitted them, cleaned the bike
then was sat with leathers on waiting for the mrs to come in for a quick hr ride before me tea..... 30 miles later... [IMG]

then i spent a month rebuilding it with a half decent rattlecan paintjob, wheeled it out the garage for the first ride in 2mth and tipped it off the stand & cracked the fairing lol.
i gave up on it then tbh and just bladdered it with stickers, never cleaned it apart from with sandpaper, just punished the arse off it, but it never once grumbled at me or let me down, which is why i felt it deserved another chance [IMG]

ive seen them rearsets you made m8, they look the bollox. maybe do you a deal for some of your homebrew zxr bling for the spare engine.
got loads of other spares as well if youre stuck when you come to build it up.
plus know a guy who has a few of them stripped & boxed up, he's got everything lol!
you might know him as ray_st4i off redmonkey?

i will most definately bear that in mind digger m8.... ive ordered some repros for now as i want the bike for weekend but will copy them for spares i think, just in case i get caught out again.
looks like the ones on my rear sets aren't harris pegs anyway, theyre ses....
i fancy making some folding ones

fixed the brake lever last night too.. it just needed a new longer bolt through the peg... the original one only went in 10mm and thats where it snapped.
it's all masked up now ready for a blow over the damage :D

decided to respray it in situ, just masked it up...
    before

    after :)

still a bit of a raised line where the masking tape was - i'll buff it out in the morning then tcut, wax & refit the rubber trim.
(that's not a run in the paint btw, it's dried dust off the 800 wet n dry)

the finish of the repaired bit is actually better than the rest of the bike lol [IMG]
