the 592 ollie is the main road out of windermere, south towards Bowness meeting with the 590 just before Newby Bridge ,,its not really a pass as in Kirkstone Hardknott Wrynose ......are these the ones your thinking off ?

Yeah it's the 592 Dave, goes from the A66 Penrith down to Windermere/Bowness. Not all bad obviously but bits of it are. But like I said knackered by then, you might find it OK. yep, Ryan's in lurve he's riding summat else

stick the Lakes chas make it a leisure ride where people can see the place rather than dash trough it ...thinking ....was that water i just passed ? you gotta take em to Bowness ? get the ferry over to Hawkshead drop down to conniston etc show these fuckas there is life out there away from industrial estates that they ride roundabouts on
