if people would like to put some ideas of nice places to go we can do one a month starting with is one...

its Rhayader - about 20 miles east of aberystwyth - but we can take a trip out there for a paddle if you like, have a ride along the coast - Borth is lovely too

the guy who runs it will let you post your camping gear there too if you like.
i'll be heading down friday am all being well, and stay the 2 nights then we can get a proper ride on the saturday.

you will love it

for those who dont like camping, there are a few cheap b&b's in Rhayader, about £40 a night. a few of the vtr lads & lasses did that last time instead of carting loads of kit, seeing as they'd ridden up from portsmouth.

Got to agree with Martin on this one, it's a great weekend, we do it every year with the Firestorm forum, fantastic roads.

if we're going rhayader, they have hairdryers and hot showers. and dryers in case you get your gear wet.
we even put our boots in it lol!

i'm fooked if i'm going camping on the bike and carrying my gear for just one night!!

 

All what gear? 2 man tent, tiny sleeping bag, wanking sock...

 

Ditto, don't think I could carry much on my bike, there doesn't seem to be anywhere much to bungee stuff to, I'll probably B&B it so I can look down on the lower classes roughing it in a farmers field.
