You tried opening it right up then cutting the motor completely to check the plug at full whack? If you know somewhere with a decent straight and a layby that'd be a good way of doing a plug check for main jet.

yeh did that twice today with new plugs m8 - is a dark biscuit colour which is about the best i can expect with the heavy oil mix its on atm.
its hard to do a proper chop though cos you can't whip the clutch in like on a geared bike.
dont see the point going further with the jetting until ive burnt off all the 20:1 mix.
last run was with a 180 main and it was just starting to bog flat out - last run topped out at 68 which is still respectable but down 5mph on the 178 main.

the 2 roundabouts i test on are 1/4 mile apart and from 20mph off the bend its close on 70 by the time im braking for the other which imo is fair fast for a ped lol :D
i used 'track my ride' on my fone on the last run and it averaged 54mph peaking at 68.
i think i'll hone aother thou off the bore though cos it felt like it was about to nip up again :S

need to print off the cones for my new pipe and get it made then it's ready to go :)
