Still no progress....

How's the steering tube bearing issue gone?
And are you a lucky sod who's graduating this year?

 

I've got bearings that will fit but the tube is too short. There were a bunch of ways I was gonna bodge it but I think a whole new stem would be the best option.

And yep Graduation in July

Wise move. Glad you frontal cortex got the upper hand.
It's not like my old puch maxi that failed the MOT on head bearings.
I removed the balls and dropped in two phosphra bronze O-rings well greased up.
Back to the MOT shop and got a pass on it for two years.
The bike will look well.

 

Looking like a first - still waiting on 3 coursework grades. 2:1 in the bag but a first is still not certain. Fingers crossed haha.

I've had an offer from mybad on here so will get in touch with him when uni is over and see whats what.

 

Good luck with the degree grade then mate, I'll buy you a drink when you know what's what but only if you tape that motar board to your lid and ride around in the robe (my master plan for graduation)
