    All the above are out of gun finish in a garage
    The only flatting needed is where dirt/dust lands on the clearcoat.
    Use a rapid hardener in the cold weather and do not breath any of the clear in.
    It's cancergenic

    Ian your compressor can handle the amount of paint coming out your gun to do a finish like that when I use the big gun I get.2-3 passes before compressor restarts and paint starts spitting out if you check.a couple pages back the radiant red finish that was shiny and didn't need anything other than a quick rub

    40psi is a bit much tbh try it at 30psi next time to reduce overspray.
    Yep having a 150ltr 14cfm compressor does help with the Gti pro gun but my SRI pro will spray happily at 20 psi and not use much air.

    2 CFM ? I could provide more blowing through a straw, Even my little 24 litre compressor is around 7-9 I think. If you happen to have another compressor you can borrow you can connect them together to help a little with the output.

    good lad smudge,like i said you must have some guts to contemplate spraying your bike,with no experience.i hope it turns out ok for you.i certainly wouldn't attempt it.i take my hat off to you.:thumbsup:

    Yep and wet and dried.best I can and its crap.it needs a decent thick clear to fill in the fook up the gold ghost caused

    It's not the look i wanted the pearl said 25g to a litre of clear.I should of used 3g to a litre also the pearl powder seemed.to of come out clumpy I'm thinking in a fewbweeks to sand it back down to base coat and polish it up
