    This is why I hate painting ! You spend hours sanding and can bollocks it up with 30 seconds of paint.

    I think the place I got my paint from have thinned it first hence why it's too runnny

    it's just about being patient when you paint, even an impatient git like me can get a half decent result. this was done with rattle cans and in a dusty garage, the metallic was put on wet in pretty much one go, dried with a space heater and then threw the clear coat on and left as was, no flatting down after.

    I think my main problem with painting is having to do it outdoors, I'll always spray something be happy with the finish. Come back in fifteen minutes and there'll be a fecking fly stuck to my paint. I fancy having a go with some plasti-dip in the new year, seems like a good product.[/quote]

    It will look rough till all lacquer on 2k wet n sand then rubbing compound

    Plus I'm not sanding bottom as it's unseen and i know I'll cut through the paint

    Ok all the spraying is done needs 2k n a rubbin down and polishing am pleased with the custom job not everyone's cup of tea[​IMG]
