"Please note: our Novice sessions are for riders who have attended a maximum of three trackdays before. If you are an experienced rider please do not book into this group as you will not be permitted to take part in this session and we may not be able to change your group on the day."

    Having done :-
    Oulton x 1
    Mallory x 3
    Donnington x 1
    Cadwell x 2
    Snetterton x 1

I read the above as the novice group being prohibited for me.

Yeah, I gave JT a pass to the VIP lounge for breakfast at Donnington so I could give him some pointers back in 2009. Not that he took any notice. He should have listened. It might have done him some good.

But unlike wanking you can't do more than one a day as addictive as it is

Maybe but you do get stimulated for 20 minutes at a time and 7 times in one day.

How strict is this ? Ive put a leo vince can on mine now instead of the stubbi yoshi. Measured with an app on phone (i know isnt gonna be 100% accurate) and it was showing 101db. Do you reckon i should repack it and/or try and get some sort of baffle ?

I will book the day off work and come along for a look, If the weather is looking decent I may book into the novices. I really need to do a track day on two wheels, done loads of miles around Oulton In different race cars, but never on a bike

Its normally 102 ! so you are close dougal ....did you take the reading at 5500 revs in neutral ? thats where they test you ....id take some form of db killer ! ive seen riders padding some wadding in before ,only to see it shoot out when the hit the limiter down the straight !

I can tell you oulton are very strict with noise regs ! there can be no noise on weekdays until 9am , it has to stop at 5pm . on a sunday no noise till 1130 am !! which is why there is no racing till this time etc.

if the limit is 102 and you read 103?.......FAIL.

I did it at 7,000 as it says here: http://www.clubmsv.com/bike-trackday-noise-limits
I wasnt going to stuff mire in, was gonna repack it with fresh wadding and recheck it. If its still around 100 ill take a db killer too.
