I'm grateful for what mozz has done for me today and I don't and won't blame him for bike giving in tonight, as I thought it was a death trap to ride until it had been done Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
seriously I'm not taking the piss, I'm genuinely interested? if the chain was to tight, the bikes gear box is in neutral........eliminating the chain how does it flatten the battery? your aware this isnt a battery powered bike arnt you?
It's when you turn the engine off and try to propel your bike along by putting it in gear and turn over the starter motor. Try it, it'll fook your battery in no time if your chain's too tight.
You over tighten the chain you cause the electrical system tobwork harder so it will drain the battery but fook it If the chain is too.tight.it will.kill battery still cleaning overspray
why do you keep typing but fook it ? their is a fellow biker in need of help, we have got to the point the lights work and the bike turns over but does not fire so i think its safe to eliminate the battery being dead, he rode it to work and he rode it home and it died on his front
a problem with the side stand switch wouldn't stop it starting in neutral as a bike can be started in neutral with stand down or up as the engine is turning over, that should rule all of the sensors of that category out. it has to be either air fuel or spark.
I enjoy these posts with no clear idea of the problem in either the title or post I think you've ridden over a snail and it made the scrunch sound and now your gearbox, engine and suspension are knackered :jawdrop:
how though? its turning his lights on and turning the bike over in what other way could it be fooked?
