check your ht lead....the lead that attaches to the spark plug. take it off, blow hard into it, put it back on and try again. may have some water or crap disrupting the connection. when it's daytime if still no luck check your spark plug.
turning over but not catching means to my knowledge either spark, fuel or air. if you have a fuel tap, check that too. make sure you have fuel and have a whiff around to smell out any leaks. check the air filter isnt full of shit/ soaking wet.

I am low on fuel, but you can hear petrol in the tank slushing around, the air filter is one of those cone shaped ones which I didn't put on so it could be getting exposed to the elements as it rained on way home from work tonight, but fine until I pulled up to driveway

I know you had a fall yesterday but the drugs the doctor gave you must be wrong, coz your making as much sense as a crack head on a high! he came to me with 4inch of play in his chain,I was surprised the chain hadn't fell off! i tightened it till he had half an inch up and half an inch down, not to tight................how ever if id tightened it till i could tighten it no more how the fuck would that kill the battery? how on gods green earth would would it be like putting a mountain bike in the hardest gear? you are aware what a gearbox does arnt you? i tightened his chain to the point were it was just right ! iv just done 200 mile on a chain that i tightened !

now Johns just said the bike is turning over but not starting, his lights are working and the bike is turning over i think we can eliminate a fucked battery.

if you rode it to work and home mate it will be something daft, if your low on fuel it could have sucked some shit in, and blocked the fuel, but if you have had problems with the ht before its more than likely gonna be that, im off tomorrow if you need a hand

Yeah I usually don't let it get too low, but thought I had enough to at least get me to petrol station tomorrow on way to work,

trust me it wasn't to tight if anything it was still a little bit slack, but im still confused how a over tightened chain kills a battery? if you could shed some light on this id be happy to learn, i allways say every days a school day

Just had a look at the user manual online it says 10-20mm so it's adjusted spot on. Maybe you could have done this as well, just a thought.

Bet your glad you offered your services in the first place albeit your chain adjustment would appear to be a good job.
