Ok new problem

Found the problem to cam chain snapping, the bearing has gone In one of the cogs no hole in piston just can't get my magnet off to remove the chain

Magnet, do you mean Rotar??? on end of crank.

 

Do you know how to set the cam timing up ,once repaired, got a manual etc????

 

Meant valve timing, presume its 'Over head Cam'

 

Yeah, found a manual online really need it printing off for all gaskets the top cam shaft cog, chain comes to 63£ and then delivery on top

So where are the ball bearings and cage, that should be there, and what damage have they done?

 

Some have fallen out, and can't seem to lift anything out without taking the whole engine out of frame

Have you had a go at draining the oil to see if anything falls out with the oil ? Is definetly worth a try if you don't want to split the cases.

 

No not drained it from the bolt, but hardly any oil coming out when I took generator case off only some

Haven't read all the thread. My garage is available. If you can please bring it round and I will rebuild it. Very similar to a 139qmb I've just done.

If not well I hope you get it sortted bud always shit to hear people struggling.
