Woooooo picking up a new project tomorrow, good road trip to edinburgh for it in morning will have it back at mine at bout 6pm.
Its a 93' rr-n nc29, has been taken apart and everything cleaned including engine, only thing it really needs is one of the side farings either replacing or repairing.
I wont be doing any modifications with this one it will be staying in standard condition and will just be giving it a good clean and the engine internals an overhaul. Cant wait now lol.
Here is a pic of what it looked like when it was fully built

Anyway thats it, think its a good base to start from and already stripped so a right good clean and replace anything which needs to be replaced, then get it all back together :D.

My srad finishes on ebay tomorrow so hopefully will be sold and i can start looking for another nc29 fully built to run around on aswell as get a bigger shed lol.

Got a bit done today not much but started doing it, i also got the wiring loom into my nc23 and engine ready to go in, just need to wait for spark plugs, exhaust studs and oil.

Anyway nc29 progress, i got the swingarm, linkage and shock on aswell as the forks clip ons and switches.
Also cleaned up the rear fairing and waiting for some abs plastic welding rods to fix bits of the side fairing.

Rear seat fairing came up with a right good polish, they had black marks all over i did take a pic before but the camera messed up
    [IMG]
    Custom dials

Made a start on making the valeys ready for the plastic welding

And again, also loom in nc23 ready for the engine to go in......as you can see i dont have a paddock stand lol but axle stands work just as well :D

Not done much on it today, got the gears, dogs, selector forks, gear selector mechanism and oil pump in the bottom half of engine, need gaskets and cylinders re-honing before i can start putting the halves together.

I ahve spent most of the day pricing things up and phoning round, cylinder re-hone is going to be £40 and getting the wheels powder coated for £60, im going to spray the sub frame myself to save on cost.
Also been pricing up what stickers i need as im repairing fairing and will be re spraying it but i want the original stickers from cmsnl, i should be able to save most of the graphics just the odd one will need replacing, seat cowl is fine polished up like new.

Anyway my srad will be sold this weekend so can hunt for a complete nc29 and order some parts, send wheels off and cylinder head aswell. will all start coming together in the next couple of weeks :D

Right my srad is now sold so can start getting parts i need to carry on putting it together, i have ordered Clutch cover gasket, Generator cover gasket, exhaust studs, exhaust gaskets, feeler guages as i dont have any lol.
Just need to put some more money in bank tomorrow and can order head gasket and sump gasket. Also tomorrow i need to ring up and get my cylinders in for a re-hone and my wheels in for powder coating, going to see if they do zinc plating aswell and send all the nuts, bolts etc off to get done :D

I realised aswell that i didnt have the brake discs lol, rang the guy up i got bike off and we had forgot them there so he is sending them to me so should be here ready for when i get wheels from the coaters, tires arent a problem i can take them to college and bug my old tutor to let me put them on and balance them lol.

So should be coming together nicely in the next couple of weeks and hopefully ready to start her up fingers crossed, then its just thefairing i need to do something about lol
