Blade streetfighter - new years mods

nearly !! haha il tell u before u go crazy thinkin lol. Iv used a heatsink for the reg/rec as its not bolted directly to a plate like on the standard subframe, nice warm grey sock on the shock coz its foooooookin rusty as hell (and i didnt have time to strip that far). bit of coat hanger holding the reservoir and a boot central locking solenoid for the seat latch-release (got that wired to a readily available 12v rec/transmitter unit all the way from taiwan for about 6 quid.

 

Was going to say the solenoid after watching a few videos to make a boot popper on a golf. Too late haha

 

Who did the paintwork? Simple, but effective!

 

RPM racepaint in leyland (preston) nice job and a fairly quick turnaround. will have to see how it holds up over the next few years.

Fitted the cut down standard bellypan i had sprayed at same time so il put another pic up soon and see if you guys think it looks better or not, i feel something should be there but i like the look of the exhaust system and the lines

 

And your 125 wont be 18 years old with a scraped frame !

I havent included my time/skills in that end cost either, purely money out of my pocket. many 100's of hours spent on it up to now equalling a fair few grand cost in labour if it counted !
