She deserves a new thread so here we are ...

So ive basically finished the bike, il bang it up here so ya'll can have a look ...

started off as a CBR 900 RR in urban tiger colours. badly gravel rashed, most fairings damaged ...

Stripped and sold everything i didnt want to get some (good) coin back

    Spec briefly ...
-Made subframe from scratch out of box section mild steel (never again, stainless or ally next time!)
-Fitted CBR 1000 RR tail and seats (pillion fully functional)
    -Aftermarket C/F exhaust
    -reservoirs front + rear
-ABM top yoke, risers and renthal bars (grips/bar ends etc)
    -sequential shift light
    -Scooter front mudguard
    -universal headlight kit
-Resprayed black on white, kinda new skool/retro look
    -various brackets made to fit
-new tyres and a reet good service/clean
-+ loads more but cba lol

The pics show it basically 95% done, iv gotta faff with the seat as it needs trimming at the front to fit nicely on the tank, need to make a fillet body-piece for under the front of the seat, get a seal for bottom of petty tank and then mot it ... thats basically all. took about 7 months on and off (subframe nearly took me two weeks) and cost about 1700 quid all in. not too bad i dont reckon, anyway, enjoy ! ...

    1700 ALL IN?!

I paid more than that for my little 125!

Take a while to list those modifications to insurance though haha.

Looks amazing...I'd love to do something like that.

Yeah respect. I'm loving that back end. The RR 4,5,6,and 7 had a great finish there

aye cheers for poisitive comments guys, like i say its only really 95% done, few little bits here and there need trimming/tweaking.
Daz im just gonna cover the top leg of the subframe directly under the seat, leaving the big gap between the two main pieces though. gonna cut them out of ally and stick some gloss vinyl on them and bolt 'em on.
Not mega sold on the headlight just yet but there aint much streetfighter stuff out there i like, most is too extreme for me (alien-ey). im going to fit the standard cut down bellypan too as most comments ive got on fb are it needs one lol. i just left it off to see how it looks without first. will put a pic up and let the audience decided :)

Those random extra bits : One is visible in all the photos (coat hanger), two are hidden in the tail (360 part and ford part) and one is just out of sight (clothing, this should be an obvious one) ... haha

all 4 serve a purpose and are functional rather than just stuck on because they look nice ... i'll let u know what they are in a couple of days once you've had a think ;)

As ever with streetfighters this is gonna be a work in progress ... this winter i will be wrapping the full system, possibly sorting a decent bellypan, making a hugger and a proper undertray and just keeping it reliable and running sweet

    Coat hanger - exhaust hanger
im guessing x box lid used for flip up tail. escort bonnet catch to hold it down?
    Clothing? home made filter ?

Actually exhaust hanger looks a bit too substantial. perhaps a hose clip from a coat hanger

    Love it :)

Did you paint it yourself in the end then?

No i didnt do it myself in the end Jim, didnt wanna spoil the rest of the hard work i had put in.i know in the first original pic it doesnt look in too bad nick, but it was well scabby, good old 'dropped it, got it fixed, left it in garage for 3 years' story ... had to cover up the frame gouge on the other side of pic (not too bad but i really aint arsed) with some carefully placed c/f sticky sheet ...

Haha with the items, it is tricky lol ...

Few more clues (seeing as leeob is taking the bait and playing ;) )

... the clothing item is a sock (c'mon thats a big clue) and is just out of sight
.. you are close with the ford escort bit being to do with the rear seat pop but not hold it down (the seat is fastened down properly with correct catch etc and clips down solid, gonna be a very brave pillion who tries it out haha)
... the xbox bit is to help cool something (ok u must have that one now, its in the tail)
and the coat hanger well il give u that one, its holding the rear brake res in position (white coating on it)

That exhaust bracket is stainless rod welded by myself, haha doubt a coat hanger would hold out for very long :)

    good guesses though lol
