So to sum the thread up.

Loose chain on bike.
Mozz tightens chain (battery goes flat, cos it does OK).
Cam chain breaks.


Mozz admits to being a thicko mechanic.

I think in this position I'd be tempted to go for the engine, for £85 notes it's an easy way to get on the road quick. Then let Carl play with the old one to see if it's viable, if it is then sell it when it's done or swap it back and sell the other.
