Yep. Ian knows his shit alright. Ive seen the finish on sues striple and its as good as a factory job.
Awww don't worry hun its real hard to spray you know ...its a real art and the patients you need is outstanding ..
All the above are out of gun finish in a garage The only flatting needed is where dirt/dust lands on the clearcoat. Use a rapid hardener in the cold weather and do not breath any of the clear in. It's cancergenic
Ian your compressor can handle the amount of paint coming out your gun to do a finish like that when I use the big gun I get.2-3 passes before compressor restarts and paint starts spitting out if you check.a couple pages back the radiant red finish that was shiny and didn't need anything other than a quick rub Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
40psi is a bit much tbh try it at 30psi next time to reduce overspray. Yep having a 150ltr 14cfm compressor does help with the Gti pro gun but my SRI pro will spray happily at 20 psi and not use much air.
2 CFM ? I could provide more blowing through a straw, Even my little 24 litre compressor is around 7-9 I think. If you happen to have another compressor you can borrow you can connect them together to help a little with the output.
good lad smudge, like i said you must have some guts to contemplate spraying your bike, with no experience.i hope it turns out ok for you.i certainly wouldn't attempt it.i take my hat off to you.
Yep and wet and dried.best I can and its crap.it needs a decent thick clear to fill in the fook up the gold ghost caused Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
It's not the look i wanted the pearl said 25g to a litre of clear.I should of used 3g to a litre also the pearl powder seemed.to of come out clumpy I'm thinking in a fewbweeks to sand it back down to base coat and polish it up Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
I do appreciate your help ian but cnt even afford a rub down off a whore let alone a pro sprayer Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
