The paints supposed to be on the part you're painting, not the gun (Nor your kitchen floor for that matter) :roflmao:
If the red is a base coat it should be thinned 50/50 thinner. No hardner is added. The clear coat is 2 to 1 ie 100ml clear to 50ml hardener and 10% thinner if required. Trying to help you here because the finish on them panels is awful. If you need any help pm me.
Nope wrong that's how the paint was supplied also that isnt the finish Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
I only followed the instructions for the mixing and its ghost pearl over red and more clear over so it's going look a bit ruff till its sanded down Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
you should Listen to Ian Smudge , me and lots of others have seen his work at first hand ,,,,its as good as any spray paint ive ever seen ...he even sprays sue a funny orange colour when they go away for the weekend ....he applies too much hardener then though ..she goes a bit stiff
so the over spray on the kitchen Floor/Sink/microwave/oven/dog...has activator in it ??? do you want to borrow my drum sander .for the floor?? think in terms of "lawn mower "size !
No hardner goes in the base coat that why the finish is so poor. You describe a 3 stage pearl which is a red base a pearl coat and a clear coat. Only the clear coat has hardener in it. The base and pearl are just thinned upto 50/50. You should not need to flat it before the clear coat or after the clear coat.
No idea I'm not experienced I never had it was the last paint but it come as a set 500 ml paint 500 ml activater 1000ml thinners and says it's a 2 litre kit Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
