You can see the red golf driver attempt an over take from 1 car back which would have made me cautious to start with. I wonder if this chap went on Telly with his go pro footage ? Oi cocka chumpy !
I wouldn't have got knocked off by him/her, why did he hesitate when he got alongside the car he was overtaking and as Bloke says why not use all the empty space and get about 6 feet wider out, it'd give him a much better view of the road ahead.

My point is, there is nothing wrong with overtaking 10 cars, if its ok to do so. In that situation what seems to have been his undoing was the hesitation, not the actual overtake. Had he moved over and used the bikes acceleration hed have been way ahead by the time the red car pulled out. Or wait. Follow the red car past, then when it pulls in, pass him too.
