What time is everyone leaving, i may have a little problem which leaved me with alot of catching up :/
Okay I'm in. What you reckon to just bringing a sleeping bag and sleeping in a field as long as it doesn't rain. Can't be fucked carrying a tent. I reckon you're alright in a sleeping bag with a nice warm hat on if it stays dry... Homeless people do it and they're still alive!!!
Been told i have to swap weekends in work wont be finishing untill 12.30 can go straight from there. Its what 2 hours max down there??
http://www.wyesidecamping.co.uk/home.html it's in rhayader, powys - on the a470 between newtown & aberystwyth. dead easy to get to as its just off a main road ways to get there??? either go the usual route past ruthin, bala, then follow dolgellau, machynlleth, aberystwyth. a few miles before aberystwyth youll pass Borth, Taliesin, tal y bont then see signs for Bow Street (its a place not a road!) then you take the A44 LEFT towards LLANGAURIG then at llangaurig, the a44 joins the a470 and you take the right towards Rhayader & LLandridnod Wells. as you see the signs for Rhayader - montgomeryshire, you will see a caravan park on the right, just before the village / town. thats the place. other way..... (quicker way but not as scenic) take the mway to the a55, follow signs for wrexham head south, taking the A483 toward Ruabon this turns into the A5 for a bit, but keep going south, heading for Oswestry from Oswestry, stay on the A483 heading for Welshpool from Welshpool, stay on the A483 heading for Newtown from Newtown stay on the A483 heading for LLandridnod Wells / Builth Wells - make sure you take the a483 LEFT out of Newtown, just after the suzuki garage, past the bp garage. after about 20 miles of intense twisty roads!!! you will come to the A44 - turn right heading for Rhayader. as you come into Rhayader, there is a monument in the middle of the road, at a X roads - take the right and the site is 300 yards on the left. postcode and directions are in the link above. its dead easy to get to but is about 140 miles for you. just a note - YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE DOING THIS ROUTE IN THE DARK - IT'S FKIN DEADLY!!!!! some of them corners are very deceptive. basically if it's got shellgrip down, expect it to be a 180* bend. if you do happen to bin you'll be going in the heli lol cos it's really remote! be carefull if youre on your own - the roads are so fantastic its very easy to get carried away but if you havent been before pls dont go mad lol, it WILL bite you!!!
