not had time to read the whole debate, did no one else notice the quote from a uk citizen was also supposedly a famous speech from oz pm julia gillard? and before that it was from another oz pm john howard. seems it is an internet hoax that gets adapted to suit.

i must say, having spent a bit of time there (australia) that i really like their outlook on life, and their views towards immigration, multi-culturalism etc. so much so that i almost moved there (still have permanant residancy visa)

they arent quite as right wing as mozzer (round em up and send em home! lol. please tell me your joking!)

but in order to get a visa i had to prove that i had something positive to offer their country and economy. that i would be adding to it, not taking from it. they have some fairly harsh rules on the dole too. you cant claim a penny for the first two years. this is explained to you. so you must make sure before arriving that you can support youself for at least that period. i had to undergo a police check, medical, skills assessment (for my trade), and then (and only then) could i apply for a visa.

during the economic downturn they simply stopped processing visas to protect the jobs that were still there. they only started giving out visas again when things began to improve. how easy is that. not many jobs - door closes. more jobs - door opens.

i work in stockport, and meet people from the world over while in work (india, pakistan, iran, west indies, brazil, poland, hungary, algeria) and probably more. thats all i could remember. now apart from the iranian lad, who is a miserable b*st*rd, they are all great people. (nothing against iran, that guy would be a miserable tw*t wherever he came from!)

It may surprise you to learn that I don't read any news in any newspaper except the back pages, the reason is your reading one persons views and I can't abide that.

Instead I watch the news and I base my opinions on what I see and hear on the news.

You may have guessed that the subject of immigration and our social services is what gets me reved up.

It's always the minority in any community that spoil it for the rest but my opinion is that each community should instead of burying your head in the sand do something about it. That doesn't mean become a vigilantly all though sometimes it might seem like the answer :D

Just see this on facebook, do not know how true it is, but it reminded me of this thread

I'M DISGUSTED AT THIS COUNTRY! In May 2010, Tohseef Shah spray painted a British War Memorial with "Islam will dominate osama is coming" he was fined £50 & walked free from court. In November 2010, Emdadur Choudhury burned a Poppy during the 2mins silence. He too was given a £50 fine and walked free from court today, 2 men have been sentenced to 12 months in prison for spray painting a Poppy on a mosque. Welcome to the Great British justice system. Disgusting, Who's brave enough to Copy & Paste this? Great Britain's morals are all fucking wrong!!!

Sharia law is here & here to stay just like Islam, we all eat halal meats unknowingly, everything is set not to offend 1 particular religion.
muslim's choose to segregate not integrate. they divide & conquer & in this country they are succeding totally.

really surprised by that. im hoping ive read it wrong, as that doesnt sound selectively racist, it sounds generally racist. not trying to offend, but thats how it sounds.
i honestly believe that there is nothing wrong with people from other countries coming here to work and live. so long as they arent coming for a free ride, and want to intergrate.

spot on, but we should be a bit more selective like the Aussies, think there are more English people screwing our system,

Can England afford to be selective when the natives aren't interested in menial job positions?

I've a younger half brother who emigrated to England when he was about 12, he's now 22 and has developed a 'can't be bothered' attitude, where everything is a chore including working.

you see mate thats the problem! we cant force our own lazy good for nothing bums off the benefits because the jobs are all taken by imports.

If we had more jobs the powers tha be could force people into a choice of work or get nothing !

Now why would you hope you have read it wrong? you have read it exactly right! Racist is a strong word! but if my view means im racist then at liest im not selectivly racist, i couldnt give a flying f*ck about colour, religion so am i racist? or am i just a concerned English man, worried about where this country is going. I believe they should ALL go back to where they come from. To use an example, if your muslim, brown of skin and was born in bradford, then as far as im concerned your as english as me! However if your muslim, with brown skin and were born in india, and your here because your uncle live here, then sorry your on your way home. if you christian, white skin and born in birmingham, then your english. If your christian born in france and your here because you can get a job, then sorry your going home.

I honestly dont see myself as racist, you obviously do , your entitled to your oppinion as i am mine, i will not appologise for my point of view, niether will i lose any sleep because of yours . if we were all the same the world would be more fucked up than it allready is!

please read again carefully dave, at no point did i say you were racist. i said your comment sounded racist. two very different things. things can be taken many ways when you arent actually speaking to a person. i read the comment and that was what i thought about it, not about you.
i cant see your logic though about being born here or not. if someone from abroad came here 10yrs ago, and had children in england what then? (i fear i may know the answer)!
to be fair to you though, you have an opinion and stick by it. it would be bloody boring if all the posts went "yeah, i agree", "me too",,,,"and me, your so right"!

my family originate from scotland and ireland. but luckily they are all dead and i was born in billing so i get to stay! lol,

The simple answer would be, dont let the door hit you on the ass on your way out

No one likes making the hard choices, but it has to be done, now where you start making the cut so to speak could be discussed but at the point where you start sending people home, someone is not going to be happy.

we could start today and say, if you dont have british citizenship now, your not getting it away you go, but some do gooder would say " his country is terrible to him" my answer would be UNLUCKY. if we dont make a stand soon britan will become another third world country with pictures of some guy with unionjack shorts on with a fly on his face begging for someone to feed him

the original article is just a hate filled vile rambling from some nob who wants to incite hatred against anyone not british (and probably not white) although i couldnt be arsed reading all of it because ive seen it all before yawn

i lived next door to a family of indian's for the 1st 20 years of my life and they were the kindest people i know there was also a mosque in the next street so know how a multiculteral soceity ticks. i now work with a very dirverse section of people from all over the world and i think lee sumed it up for me about the miserable bugger who he works with

i dont care if you are black white blue green or yellow a nob is a nob and i know plenty of british ones

    im proud to be british

im proud to be a boltonian

im proud that i vote EVERY time to try and make the changes to our soceity that i dont agree with and after all this is the only way it will change not chasing them out with burning pitch forks
