    Ok feel better lol lifted the dust covers off shocks a lot of rust above the seals so I cnt just replace seals I'm going to have to refurbish them

    If it's only surface rust it's easy to remove without recoating the sanctions.

    Sanctions look ok from what I can see seal clip is rusty but I cnt see any further at moment

    No leaks no more most stuff put back just fork seals to do and sort the jamming throttle then stick some of the fairings back on then mot time

    Oh learnt a lesson also don't test ride it round the block with no tank on how hard is it to ride oh and also when the petrol left on filter runs out lol

    Just out of pure perverse interest.... How much money and time have you invested in this since buying it? Sounds like an extensive project

    Proberbly the reason I can not.let go but realistically I haven't spent anything yet parts bend back and like the advice I've got here it's going to be a budget.fix so £40 to get it mot.ready so the hire bike can goI have paint in and stuff lol but I will be painting in shed this time and not Fook about with custom colours then so Im going to say 200

    Is it plan b now?
    Fix with what you have cheap as poss then wait on ins to get sorted?
    Btw I prefer your first respray

    Thinking about all the advice I didn't take also I was thinking the first respray but all the front colour

    I agree. Very nice! Even the second respray looks ok but there seems to be some overspray on the seat.

    Ok I've tried normal thinners 2 pack thinners and brake fluid my paint job is laughing at chemicals how can I easily get paint off fairings it's indestructible
