Well the strip down has started and the price list has gone up lol. There's oil on the forks seeping out the dust seals so looks like I will be re building these so I may as well get the bottoms powder coated, and the top yoke. Thinking wheels too but they need repairing.will powder coaters repair when they sand blast them??? Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
What's the expected time to fix it all up mate?? I would be very tempted to pick up another bike and keep the old one as a side project rather than be without a bike now the weathers getting good..
For £700 I'd be looking at buying something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-CBR...5834977?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item2ed07529e1 And keep your old one for spares
Not after another bike total cost to get mine on the road is £350 without mods Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
Haha the amount of stick he gets regarding SV's he must know he's wrong by now. Anyways good look with the build mate, if I can a suggestion, if the budget allows for it replace all fixings for stainless! Go through every thread with a tap and use grease/loctite where applicable. It's the only time you'll ever get to do every fixing and it will make your life a million times easier in the long run mate
Top tip for you. Get a spark plug brush and scrub the chain with it and degreaser. Should come up like new.
That's what I use normally but for now I've made myself Ill playing with coolant and oil so packed in for day Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
