Here's a little taste this was a practice with the shimmering silver before being stripped off think I need a darker silver base Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
When I press my brake front or rear it flashes 5 fast 3 slow then solid, made a massive difference to cars behind they never got as close, plus the resistor as I have led bulbs in the stop/tail Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
Can honestly say I've never seen or heard of that before Sent from my Nexus 4 via a satellite in space
Most new cars have them in center brake light when abs is activated And there eu approved Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
they arent half off putting to bikes behind though haha. was on the way to Southport behind lilday a few weeks back. was pretty dark and wasnt expecting a rave in front so very nearly messed up a sharp left hander due to the party on my retina's. safe to say I went in front of him from then onwards lol.
Yes activated with the abs But if your number plate late runs off the stop/tail light it's illegal as you have a flashing number plate lol way round it is to use dark lens tint under light so no white light shines out and use number plate leds separate but I never got round to doing that lol Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
Anyway back on topic all brakes cleaned ready for paint tomorrow's job drop the forks, engine and swing arm take all wiring off frame treat frame were rust has got in and primer it hopefully lol Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
Don't forget tap all the threads and use grease/loctite I promise you'll be thankful and buy some stainless bolts instead of rebuilding with the cheese ones provided!
Everywhere! First off you'll be able to buy a stainless fixing kit on eBay. But things like caliper bolts especially. Any bolt that's pretty universal 10mm, 6mm, 5mm thread then change it, obviously things like spindles aren't possible(without big expense) preferably with an Allen head in my opinion but that's just me
Sorry ye a stainless steel fairing fixing kit. You'll abuse these bolts the most so best changing them definately. Then as you strip down the bike you'll find a lot of standardish sized bolts so order some of them. I've never had a cbr in bits but I'd be guessing a lot of 6mm 20mm long you'll get a lot of use out of them
