I had a remote start alarm on my scooter, It was dead easy to fit & was really handy in cold mornings, I could start it up in the mornings with the steering lock on, and put my lid & jacket on and by the time I was ready the bike was warm.

I bought a HAWK X40 Alarm I think it was though, It was about £20, I thought it's a bit better than the Chinese ones for support.

 

Mine is the ncs v2 it's the standard alarm fitted to HONDAs in factory

Just had a look at them on eBay, might have to fit one to my Vara soon enough. I've got the old alarm off the scooter which I was going to put on it, but it auto arms after the ignition has been off for like 15 seconds. So it always goes off when I lock the bike up, and at petrol stations. Does my bloody head in

What on? be really interested to see what your chinese fairing are like. If your old TOP fairing is an original, they are like rockin horse shit, worth some money on ebay. know your on a budget.
