wtf at the tescos lol - i said left at the lights, through the twisties, theres a petrol stn at the end of the road....
sat there marking and every fker went straight past lol. :doh:

got home just in time for the guy who's just bought my akros and pc3

switched my built-in jetwasher on, cleaned the bike and locked it away - probably the last ride on it today.
oh... one of the bar ends fell off as well. just happens to be one of the parts 4th dimension fitted so not my problem :lol:
sorry if it went thru anyone's rad... if it did, i suggest you call 4d up and demand a new bike

 

Cheers all a good day in the sun, didn't quite do the full route but difficult with such a big group, we ended up doing a sort of 'extended kebab run figure 8' through the middle of the Peaks. Just wish they weren't so far away in the first place! Things I have learnt today:

1. A satnav or phone holder would be handy
2. An A5 map is useful
3. I want Lee's Tuono (but with a fuel card )
4. The 'yoof's' hair are as colourful as their helmets
5. Wifey is grumpy when she has to look after overtired kids
6. Some fascist has put 50 limits on seemingly every road in the Peaks since I was last there, something about 'saving lives' pfft

it was a very big group...i counted 21 bikes they sounded great going through Knutsford village .... i think we upset their tea party

 

50s dont save lives.... it probably costs lives.
it makes people impatient and they then make stupid overtakes, usually on double whites.

Thanks for a great ride out everyone. What can be better. Good riding with good bunch of mates.

 

Suprised i got to the cat & fiddle ok not got us lost once. It all went down hill from there. Lack of sign posting and no phone signal

 

must say, when you park up at the cat n fiddle, park facing the road rather than away from it....
the carpark is on a slope and it gets windy up there somethimes - ive seen a whole row of bikes get blown over like dominoes cos they were parked like that... the bikes stand way too upright.

just saying.

Oh yeah forgot about that!! Some right knobbers on the roads today, a guy totally ignored my signal in Culcheth, nearly took me out...then the auld bag east side of Knutsford totally oblivious to my presence...jeez that got my circulation going and my horn's had a good workout today (fnarr)
