Hmm.. call me old fashioned, but I don't think it's a good idea to show a photo of bank account number, sort code AND your signature on a public forum? And I'm really sorry but I think it'd be fairly quick and easy to see that bike isn't worth over a grand And I'm fairly sure you do need to give him the deposit back - as far as I know so do businesses unless they can demonstrate they had costs due to reserving the item for you (I.e. lost another offer, had to do an mot or put a new tyre on or whatever at your request)
