All that stuff about the alarm would really put me off if I was trying to buy it mate. Maybe that's something you should mention in person when someone comes to view it?
how do ebay work out fees for the sale on bikes smudge ? and a serious question …how much would you take cash in hand ?
Just thought id butt in here, i was charged £45 for selling my bros for £300, so i think its an average of 15%.
Depends where you list it. If its under the cars, motorcycles etc and you just have an auction then its £10 to list it, and a 1% final value fee (min £20, max £35) plus a charge off ebay for using paypal, and a charge off paypal themselves. If it sells for say £1000 cash then it should cost £20 in total. Adding a buy it now puts another £10 on it.
i get 30% of all fees due to the charity part and usaully its cash on vehicles @Dave the cash offer I have more prices in my head than an corner shop worker  Those that know me on a personal level know why its on ebay as 30% it was going on for a lot more than that at first but i was told not to
yeah cash is king ..most peeps ask for a deposit of £100 into paypal then cash on collection .it works both ways…if you sell you save on the paypal fee..if the intending seller dont like it on arrival he has only lost a deposit not the full amount ….good work on the charity donation
you need to get rid of the spares/repair bit, to list it with that will put a hell of a lot of people off.
It's amazing, the more you read of the description the less you'd want to buy it... Lol Good luck with the sale as you understandably want rid... Will be interesting to see what it goes for
