Well me and the mrs really enjoyed that. Thanks very much. On a serious note big thanks to the quiz mistress for sorting the night (lavinia), diggers for the great grub, and everyone for turning up. oh and a special thanks to nel for the jaffa cakes and fronkey for the masses of frazzles!
Brilliant night had so much fun. Got to speak to people I'd have never met before and mingle within the group. Found it to be better than just a meet if I'm honest as it seemed a lot more sociable. Huge thanks Lavinia for sorting it and now winters on its way be good way of keeping the crowd together. Many thanks to Diggers for the fantastic hospitality. Whens the next one??? Ps can we have the same questions again I've memorised the answers Kat
So rolling on fron this who fancies another bowling night, fat bob has already volunteered for naked fat man duties if daz can't come so we've got all the bases covered!
Well.....iirc last night it stood for british small arms? Anyway. i think it was a toss up between team nazi bastard mods (us) and wills team (will, phil m? and erm.... told you we needed fkin name badges!!!!!) Personally our full marks in the nwb round might have swung it. was good fun regardless
Erm we didn't see these Jaffa cakes either, fronkey did seen to be on a sugar high though so I do wonder
Glad to hear everyone had a good time! I'll try and make the next one. Nope - definitely Birmingham Small Arms because err...they made small arms...in Birmingham then moved on to cycles, motorcycles, going bankrupt, selling their competition arm to Alan Clews (CCM) etc. etc.
ha ha the jaffa cakes were a little present for me from nel. But i think my mrs fed them to her baby belly!
Ah yeah i forgot your dad was coming. Oh and i forgot to say thanks also to swerve test survivor, who i was calling gareth but i think thats wrong! A true gentleman for giving my mrs a hoody cos the daft sod forgot her coat. bollocked her when we got home for giving it back!
