Not starting

    James, got your stand here now mate.
    Regarding the POS alarm, if you cant cut it out and make a tidy job of it, easier to reloom the bike. i got loads of spare 30 looms.

    Got the bike to attempt to fire up and start. Found a pin out guide for my busted alarm on tinterweb and it worked. Still need a new battery and to either connect everything back up and try and start it properly, or strip carbs etc down and get it all serviced then rebuild and start etc. Decisions decisions

    Jump leads from your cbr and give it a crack see what happens...not gona cost anything

    I put my cbr battery in it, had it cranking over but not firing up.

    Get a spark plug and try it on the leads one at a time see if your getting a spark...put a one of the leads on the plug and the other end of the plug on the engine turn it over and look for a spark if there is it's fuel problem probably
