exactly theyre so slow and browsing is terrible, battary life is terrible, the only good thing left is bbm and thats starting to become just as slow as texting if not slower at times, plus it causes arguements when you dont reply as soon as you read.

Ohh this good old arguement ... Apple vs Android

Ive had both, owning an iphone was the worst 2 years of my life, they restrict everything i feel i should be able to change on a mobile to customise it for ME ... No battery change on iphone, no downloading dodgy films/music, no plugging into other peoples pc's for fear of messing up the equilibrium of the world !! I think they hold stuff back to release it in dribs and drabs to make the next fone the 'best ever' (for all of a week or two, keeping up with the latest and greatest woul be ridiculously expensive)

people just buy into the whole 'apple is the worlds greatest'

Ive got a galaxy s2, it has its moments, but so do iphones. thats technology for you !! The iphones are great if you like simplified smartfone operating, if you like fiddling you HAVE to get an android !!

My opinion, buy sommet thats been out a little while, has lost the edge on the price and keep it for a few years and hammer it. Im loving my Samsung atm, got a samsung 50" HDTV and can stream dodgy downloaded films (on a torrent app) straight to tv from my phone. Dueal core, 8mp camera, 1080 vid, awesome screen, lightweight blah blah blah.

people normally like their brand and stick with it, ive never understood blackberries but some swear by them

If you hadnt guessed i am pretty anti-apple. their price doesnt reflect how good the item is deep down where it matters. It is, to me, just a 'look good' phone !

Entirely your call Daz but i got a bit excited when i saw the quad core 1.5Ghz phone mentioned above BY htC. If you dont mind the initial outlay im sure that'd be a stormer ... Desire HD ace phone in its day but like all tech, its been overshadowed constantly by the new phones that are coming out. thats always gonna be the case. Let us know what you get !

Got to be honest looking online the only difference between the iPhone 4 and 4s is this talking gismo.

Now my car has the access point for any music phone but it's set up at the minute for an iPhone. I'm going to look into what other phones I can get to work with it. Then I'll make a decision I reckon.

Daz, the best thing is be realistic, if you dont use half the crap your phone has now - stick with it or find similar one at a great deal. I like messing with my fone, personalising it, tweaking etc etc. HTC/Samsung all the way for me. Most phones will link with other stuff, its all down to what you a) REALLY use it for and b) what you like the look of

BTW, if iphone will link to ur car im damn sure the others will. It'd be the other way round i'd be worried ;)

I remember my dads first mobile, it was about thirty years ago and had a battery the size of a motorbike battery. I really wish I had kept all my old mobiles, particularly the Nokia banana slide model

And i heard that only works properly if you can talk with an american accent, what a load of tripe. i bet i can do whatever on my phone faster than some half-assed voice recognition software !

Try O2 recycle for your old iPhone. I got nearly as much for my old one as the new one cost!
