The dealer has tried a different iPhone and stated that the problem exists across the 3 series range. I use the same iPhone on my 1 series and it is perfect. I believe the dealership is just playing a game.
Spot on Dave, that's what their letter states. I've since taken the opportunity to upgrade to iOS 7.1.1 I don't understand why it works in the 1 series, but not the 3 series...then again the 3 series is manufactured in South Africa.
id would have thought the stereo system for the 1 series would not be as good as the one as in the 3 series too!!! strange how it plays in one but not the other........if they state the problem exists across the 3 series range, they are actually admitting to a problem ...game over

I tried that and they are siding with the dealership. If I didn't listen to music on my iPhone I wouldn't even realise the problem, but on my trips to collect my son I use my iPhone for music as even digital radio cannot cover the duration of my journey.
Even the cheap cars do it all through blietooth So ur head init isnt a2dp Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
Being pedantic yes, but in the spirit of the question no. Regardless, it is good to keep our problems and troubles in perspective.

Paul have you tried to load the latest software into the car ? http://www.bmw.com/com/en/owners/co...mobile_devices/bluetooth_software_update.html From what I gather you upload to a pen drive , put the pen drive into the USB on the y lead and it downloads to the stereo , vin numbers etc are needed , this is what they did on the GT 1600 tourer , bmw dealers have this knowledge
I'll take your response assuming you've selected the moral high ground. Perspective: I've paid good hard earned monies for an item that hasn't delivered as promised. Your current and previous remark appear as an effort to place me in a position of moral juxtaposition. Regardless it's good to add that I live in England and I have an issue with something I've bought in England, therefore I shall follow English law to resolve my issue. Yes I am aware that there are starving kids in the world (I was a starving kid living in Africa too, but now I'm a greedy git), which raises the question; why haven't you sold your house and all your belongings to help support those less fortunate than yourself? I offer two reasons: 1. A long time ago I realised I couldn't save everyone, including those close to me. 2. A fool and his money are soon parted. P.S. If you're still sat astride your moral high horse, I have seen first hand where your donated items of clothing and money end up...it's not pretty. Everyone profits, except those persons your donated items were originally intended for, who end up buying your old mis-matched trainers for a US dollar. The poor suffer. Yours sincerely A dodgy African who would love to dream up a scheme of tricking you into buying me a new bike. PPS Don't be quoting any excerpts from The Long Walk to Freedom as I've seen it recently Viva \o/
They say they have uploaded the latest software. I'm tempted to go down and try again as it's been over a month and I've updated the software on my iPhone again. I guess I'm just angry with them and would like them to do something about it and not me chasing about trying to get it all sorted from my side.
