yea, they tend to do us for 2 track days for a good set, if we get the odd bad set its 2 sets a days, so we always take to sets each to a trackday

i think we get one bad set in 20, but we are normally getting road tyres, only get about 7 sets of slicks. its rare for a set to go, but when they do, just start sliding. always on the rear, probally would reduce wear on them if suspension was set up correctley.

I turned 40 a few days ago and lots of nice people gave me money, so it's paying for half the track day

finally started to do some work on her tonight, sanding fairings down, got some filler and some fibreglass repair kit.
got a huge list of things to do over the winter.
just can't decide weather to buy new pistons or not?
was thinking of a complete engine refresh, but too much work tbh.
tappets need adjusting, i know that much.
frame is going to get blasted and sprayed.
need to find a cheap exhaust, then i can get chopping, either underseat or bellyban?

cut and adjusted seat, so no need to remove fairings to take tank off.
removed some of the fairing mounts, ease and quickness.
also did some fibre glassing on the seat unit, from where it has bee catching the frame, going to be removing some of it in the morning.
    clutch is due, about 1ish.
still need to drain tank and carbs.

new wheel and forks on the bike, old wheel next to.

more pics coming up, got quite a bit done today.
picked up new clutch plates and oil filter, plates are in to soak for a few days.
also picked up some locking wire and locking wire plyers.
spoke to mechanic, he recommended to drain fuel out of tank and carbs and replace.
if that doesn't work, check valve clearences.
did some work on back end removing 2 lugs which had been threating to come through fairings.
finally got round to wet and drying fairings, got rear end done and top of front fairing. going to fill them tomorrow, and do belly pan.
theres ony a few patches than need filling.
need to find my wood seat that i have put somewhere for safe keeping, ffs its going to take a while.

found a small heater in the loft, so putting it to good use in the garage.
