Engine mounts fitted and drilled/aligned and cases bolted in today, shock and powder coated swingarm on
All ready for welding. Made a plate to go across the rear mounts to brace them up should be much stronger.
I can imagine, but at the same time don't rush it, it'll be a one off so worth the wait whatever... we'll definitely have to go for a spin when it's done, I'll be very interested to see it Live Forever or Die Trying
Pre drilled ain't much use when I'm putting it on a totally different bike haha. Know people for paint and prep anyway.
Gutted you can't use an original cagiva mito front fairing... Mini Ducati look! Live Forever or Die Trying
I can mate, I just don't want to. I'm using the mito frame as a basis for a special, I don't want it to look like a cagiva mito hybrid, that's already been done.
Fair enough Interesting thing to say when you've asked me to come round and help you later you bell end, lol Live Forever or Die Trying
Just to give yous an idea, this is roughly same spec motor I'll be using Not got any time to do much this weekend, next jobs are to cut subframe down and make brackets for the RS tank, also need to modify the tie bars the mount under the engine to the engine mounts, but tbh the mounts are seriously solid anyway, but every little helps. Just ordered some titanium bolts for calipers cos I'm bored and ordered a custom brake line for the rear brake. Gonna do as much as I can with the rolling chassis for the time being then start ordering engine parts. First job motor wise is to send the cases off to stan stephens to get trenched to clear a +7mm crank.
