Yet another reason to hate the police!!

    Its good job we dont live in France, Italy or Germany or there would have been a few more people with broken heads as their Police forces are'nt as lenient as ours - if you dont want your head busted get out of the area, simple, and dont listen to the press too much as there were even rumours that they were paying people too start trouble.

    What you're forgetting though Kev, is the police usually stop people from escaping and try to contain them. So in some circumstances there's no way to get out of said area :(

    Point taken - but as I said dont jump to conclusions - take it from me riot and crowd control are hard to get right, Alex and any other squaddie who has done it would back me up on that one - ( even though Alex would probably have busted more heads :rofl: ) and if it was any other force more heads would have been busted. I am not condoning what the police did on this occasion but I dont think we will ever get the full facts so we will never know if the guy was giving them shit or not.
