IMHO if you have read this thread and actually thought about the various advice and ideas, you are probably a decent rider. It means you are still learning and open to advice.
Got to agree with Vvtr, some days I also get a bad feeling and don't ride. Sixth sense? Don't know.

i agree and have been following it closely i am really bad on info and want to know more and more but i would not say experience is that big i see people that have been riding alot longer than i have that are bad riders and push above their limits i will quite hapilly sit at the back of a group and watch i may have a quick ish bike but i am slow and unless i know the roads and surroundings i will stay that way

ive only just noticed tis post . Yeah Moz Clives the Saturday man of Knowledge as Rob Says. Having Said that I have rode with Clive alot and he his ultra safe. Not nessacerily fast but really smooth and safe.

Having read the comments above, For me their is no substitue for experience or further training, You NEVER stop learning. This year ive completed the IAM special Assessment and scored the highest mark the examiner had ever given! and re took my adavnced test to score twenty seven 1's out of twenty seven! does that make me the polished item ? i dont think so I still watch and learn and I have been riding a good 25 years

The more people you ride with the more your riding improves. You watch the rider in front thinking, "kin ell " he is fast and accurate, but not smooth, so you tend to try the bits that work for him in YOUR riding.

You are a fantastic example of a safe rider, you have a safe head on your bike, you have only "just started" riding done your test then did an advanced test RESPECT. Its not for everyone but advanced training helps you see how others ride and plan. IPSGA ??? you know what it means it works at 10 mph and 110mph
