Here's the first hours route... No motorway... For this section of the route with lots of bikes we will operate the drop off system. I will probably go over the top and ask people to mark roundabouts even if we are going straight across... this is for all your benefits in keeping the group going in the same direction... the 2 liitle red x's on the map are where i will stop everyone to regroup... This is not a rest stop, piss stop, fag break, give ur boyfriend a sloppy wet kiss stop... its just to make sure everyone keeps on the route, especially when we go round Wrexham. I will still leave a corner marker so everyone can see we have turned and pulled up, rather than just flying on down the road ! After the Pondy I will be in the pack with the rest of you...
Few of us meeting at Liverpool Museum 10:15 and straight to Pondy from there if anyone else fancies that instead of Lymm ?
For those meeting at the Pondy, before C-J and Sue arrive, can you try and park at the far end of carpark near to the road (furthest end from cafe) to have a chance of meeting and getting away together. I should be there about 10.30 but I understand that there is another big rideout that may be leaving from the Pondy. PM for my number.
Haha my girlfriend? Yeah she's coming her bikes finally back on the road after her having a fight with some mud we only live like 7 miles from Lymm services so see ya there!
I'm a newbie so might come along for my first NWB rideout. Did I read there's a slow group. If not then I'm at the back. Just getting back into biking after many years off. Got a black er6f which isn't very fast. It's the bike you understand, not me. Will meet at the far end by the road as requested. Will look out for sue in the white leathers. Be there about 10:30.
have a good un guys and girls, bit jealous but im having a trip to hawes instead, just like wales but with bigger sheep
Theres going to be quite a few 125's and some slower riders including myself going, don't worry about holding anyone back, there should / will be someone waiting at each junction marking the turnoffs and such so you wont get left behind
Sue will be at Lymm services at 10am. It's the Ponderosa at 10.30 Sue won't be at the Pondy by then, so look for a Black Super Duke (KTM) 56 reg I'll be hanging round it and if Kev's got there a white R6.
Thanks guys. I'll probably wander aimlessly asking everyone 'you a north west biker' until someone says yes.
which Meuseum will that be... one by the queensway tunnel/st Georges hall I presume? ill be heading past there around about that time so will tag along if you guys are using a non-motorway route... and dont mind me joining of course.
yeah mate thats fine, already been told off about motorways haha strictly A roads. will be just on the side of the museum close to the roundabout
