They were good in their day but not by todays standards in terms of power handling braking etc. 350lc would get left standing by a 250 ninja lol - i know cos i had one til i flipped it! And i wouldnt fancy 18mpg at £1.40 a litre! :/
martin do you not fancy this its a pre prodution model shown the finished release should be awesome though its not cheap http://www.diecastle...utm_medium=blog
yes your so right my mate had the LC and it was fast then but it would be very slow now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk sue
can u see where they get the idea of the paint job on barts dads bike Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk sue
sue the paint job is copied from the yamaha america colours of the 70,s as made famous by the great Kenny Roberts
my mates uncle has a real marlboro rd500 that he bought new it has less than 6000 on the clock & he will NOT sell grrrr... he bin offered £8000 for it & still said no.....I'd keep it to lol... lives in his dining room hehe.
I beg to differ. the 250 may go round bends better but the lc would destroy the 4 stroke in a straight line... tbh with the right tyres & setup an rd350 lc would just be gone sorry.... A 250 ninja would struggle to stay with a full power Cagiva mito evo. you can hear theres nothing left in the ninja !!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvwMjDdUmcI
Ooh ooh a 2 stroke thread - i like 2 stroke threads. Have you seen my . . . . . . . . . . . . oh yeah, you have
the RD 500 was the bollocks based on the yamaha GP 500 bike As daz says kenny roberts colours on any Yamaha look the dogs, they did the XJR 13 in it speed block yellow , loved it mega bike that sue buy it for chas
sorry, but got to prove you all wrong with a quote from god..."The RG500 is the most rewarding engine to tune and is definitely my favourite." i once rode a stage 3 tuned one with huxley pipes on, it was insanely fast!! flat as a witches tit till about 8,000 then pointed itself at the sky and went mental.
i remember when they 1st come out, my favourite was the skoal bandit one i wish i had one of those in as new condition.
dunno why they say flat as a witches tit. a witches hat is called a tit, hence the name for a boob cos its the same shape.... sort of!
