Its for when he crashed the Blade, the guy on the scooter got all his mate to go witness and none of Kev's mate that was there went witness for him, so what ever they told the police what Kev did, they decided to charge him

yeh good luck kev m8, take all your insurance letters saying it was 50/50 liability etc, not that they will listen like, they never do. dont forget to ask if they can deal with it with a 'discretionary suspension' instead of a ban, as a ban will affect your job and you could get sacked, lose your home etc. they have to consider that before giving you a ban.
None of Kev's mates were actually there to witness the accident - I only arrived moments after it had happened. Kev had headed off to Vauxhall road first to see who else was there. The kid on the ped had his mates all give witness statements (obviously) in the lad's favour. This is despite the fact that whilst Kev was being treated by paramedics I went over to the kids and asked if the lad was ok and every single one of them without fail said it was their mate's fault entirely for not checking the road was clear and shooting out right in front of Kev. Magically their stories have all changed for their witness statements. The police and CPS have obviously decided to concentrate on these "statements", despite the fact that none of them are independent. There was actually an independent witness who knew neither of the the riders - this guy spoke to the police at the scene and gave his details, confirming that it was 100% the kid's fault. The police said they'd contact him for a formal statement. Shock horror - the never contacted him. He even called the police to chase them up so he could make a statement and they promised they'd definitely, definitely be round to see him and take his statement. They never showed. Strange that, isn't it? Four or five biased statements from snot-nosed scrotes blaming the lad who WASN'T their mate, one statement by a respectable, independent adult who knew neither of the parties and firmly put the blame on the kid - and the single independent adult is "forgotten" by the police.
Good luck Kev. Surely the police are duty bound to investigate all avenues, so by not seeking a formal statement from the independent man they cannot prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he is guilty. And I'm sure Kev's solicitor will make a point of this error in the police investigation.
I never understand why they do it, more paperwork perhaps? It absolutely stupid how its happened and to get charged when it wasnt your fault sums it up :/ hope they go easy on you

just got out and it ain't good,ajerned for sentencing in crown court,judge told me that a custodial sentence was the only real option in the seariousness of the charge:-(
