just checked this place out in the middle of nowhere. The owner is a bike rider himself. £55 for a single room, £75 for a twin. Wifi compatible and just for Josh, he's fitted a mobile phone booster for all networks at great expense he added lol. Great runs up there and I'm sure he will know some of the hidden runs too. FFS lads three nights in the lakes? i could do that ..and have done that ..on my push bike . you would leave at 10 am and be in windermere at 11am ! then what ????? just get on the dublin fast boat from Holyhead at 9am , dublin by dinner time , then ride north to the Antrim Coastal route. stop there. race round the NW 200 track , see the Giants causeway, go to Joeys Dunlops Bar and Memorial ..... get the late boat back friday at 4pm ..home at 7pm ....great trip ..... Alternatively ...ride from here to Fort william , tour the southern highlands,,,it will make your cock stand right up ,,,its bike heaven definitely avoid sch holidays ...ANYWHERE...the hotels always up their prices THE LAKES !!!!!!!thats a one day trip ...
if its only a small room then the bike gets it, complete with duvet! Ill happily sleep outside if it keeps the bike happy :angel:
