    :( :( :(

Much as I would love to do it, for once in my life I'm going to do the sensible thing and pass for now mate.
I just need to wait and see how work goes.

As soon as things change for the better I'll be up for it, maybe as a celebration of a little more certainty in my working life.

    :( :( :(

I would defo love to give you some competition. Unfortunately, without any money and cards maxed out, I can't book yet.

pch1 why not just wait and save your money, have you already booked for the 28th if so you will be fine as long as your in novice i know the track takes a while to learn as its one of the most demanding in the UK but you'll be fine unless you've booked for the intermediate/advanced on the 28th if you have then get there before the 28th lol ;)

I'm already booked for the 28th in the intermediate group, but was hoping to get out there and learn the circuit before my mates give me a right old thrashing around the track.

Looks like it's just me and Dave the Rave for late June.

As soon as I see the next job come in at work, and I can see some security, I'll be booking myself in mate.

    Looking at Trackdays http://www.trackdays.co.uk/tracks/oulton_park.htm

The available dates for June are: 9th, 17th and the 23rd.
I am available for the 9th or the 23rd June.
Post up and show your interest for those dates so we can confirm a date.

Also it doesn't matter what bike you ride, I have seen a Yamaha Diversion (Regarded by some as a commuter bike) on track before.

I can really do only the 23rd.

I need to check insurance and what I need to do before. Never been to a track day before so this will be my first time.

I am planning just to turn up on the bike as I use it at the weekend. Planning to get my knee down safely on the track, have some fun, enjoy the day. No hero display from me I am affraid.

I know what you are saying but turning up on this with full off road off road takes the biscuit a bit

Insurance £46 for a day with £250 excess I think I can live with that.

With petrol and all the rest I think I may be looking at £200 + .

I will have to drop in a conversation this weekend and we will see what the reaction will be. I will confirm Monday as whether I will be going or not.

i'm gonna do the 28th (so is my mate ste with the R1, although he'll be on a gixxer6) but it all depends on whether me and cat can change our week off...cause if we cant then we're doing the scotland trip this week.....if we can make it earlier then i'll be on the 28th July day.
