What fascinates me is the cost to salvage it.
It cost €450 million to build it, but is already over €600 million in salvage costs. with the final figure expected to be much higher.

    Now theres a good question.
Id be surprised if the insurance is footing the bill. what with the captain taking it off course on a little joy ride.
i thought the operating company may have to foot it.
or the captain pays a euro a week for 11,500,000 years?

They sould just float it,and sink it to make an artificial reef,( after takeing anything off that isn't water damaged or pose a high threat to marine life + anything that can be slaveged),I hope they don't plan on returning it to service,no one will want to get on a boat that has sunk.

its a total loss. so is being scrapped.
Doubt they will throw more money away by making a reef out of it.
Magic mike would give them decent cash for it.

It will only be a matter of time before the compony that owns go bust, when something gose wrong beacuse of driver/captian/pilot error, people will qouestion the staff.or maybe it won't,time will answer that.Tell you one think thought, think ama stick to planes rather then boats.
