well yes it was disgusting how it happened ...having just been on a cruise i find it very interesting
Ive been watching to move a ship that big no wonder it took them a year to prepare. Bet it comes out in a documentary soin
What fascinates me is the cost to salvage it. It cost €450 million to build it, but is already over €600 million in salvage costs. with the final figure expected to be much higher.
the capt of that ship wants hanging ,,,how the fuck do you crash a multi million pound cruise liner with state of the art guidance technology....fooking good job he wasnt on the titanic ...DICK
Now theres a good question. Id be surprised if the insurance is footing the bill. what with the captain taking it off course on a little joy ride. i thought the operating company may have to foot it. or the captain pays a euro a week for 11,500,000 years?
I wonder if they'll be getting some old bag on board to tell of her shags of old before they turn it the right way up?
They sould just float it,and sink it to make an artificial reef,( after takeing anything off that isn't water damaged or pose a high threat to marine life + anything that can be slaveged),I hope they don't plan on returning it to service,no one will want to get on a boat that has sunk.
its a total loss. so is being scrapped. Doubt they will throw more money away by making a reef out of it. Magic mike would give them decent cash for it.
It will only be a matter of time before the compony that owns go bust, when something gose wrong beacuse of driver/captian/pilot error, people will qouestion the staff.or maybe it won't,time will answer that.Tell you one think thought, think ama stick to planes rather then boats.
