Thats what the cage is for, commuting ;) but seriously though i do agree bikes are great to go to work on, if you dont mind the wind/rain/snow

yep heard if you keep it coated with various squirty bits n bobs the muck does just rinse off, keep it up and she'll rinse off as good as new come summer :)

Just a hint to everyone if you clay bar it first the wax lasts alot longer its like painting a door without sanding it first it just peals off so if the wax has something to stick to it lasts alot longer and you get a better finish as there is no crud on the paint the best way is to get a crisp packet put two fingers in rub the paint and see how it feels like sand is on it or smooth???? if you need any advise just pm me or just ask ill help in anyway i can and have a look and tell you the best way to deal with it

I know mate, extender fender is on order and looking into a rad cover, the previous owner used to clean it with a jet washer!!

Joe totally understand what you've said there, I bought some G3 paste and used the black soft sponge on the drill (low speed) and machined all the fairings, I managed to get a couple of the deeper scratches out with some 2000 wet n dry then I re polished, all the swirl marks went! I then gave her a coat of super resin and 2 coats of hd wax :D

I'm going to buy some clay for the car, paintwork is rough as hell. Would you clay after using G3 before polishing? The paintwork felt really smooth after the G3

What make is your car mate as the vag group are hard paint and Honda have very soft paint so depending on the make depends on how much work it will take.

Some fords can be quite hard and some about med. I gave got a ptg reader if you want to have a look to see what the paint is like before you have a go but in that I would just clay and use srp and top it off with hd wax two thin coats.
