Is there a possibility damage could have been done to the steering?

Took it for a test ride don't know what it was like before and not used to the bike but now:
at low speed the front feels very light and twitchy
at speed when cornering, it doesn't want to turn, but then turns in all of a sudden.
I'm thinking head bearings any thoughts?

Honestly could be the yoke has twisted. Check the fork legs are straight in the clamps. Head bearing wouldnt give those symptoms.
