I dont understand it right i did my theory and mod 1 last year are they totally irrelivant now or what? What do i do next lol ???
Yes. If you take your mod 2 on the WR you will be restricted to ridin a 125 only. If you hire a bike at least 395cc up to 46.6bhp (but the bike must not have been DESIGNED for any more than 92bhp in the first place) then you can get a bike with the same power restrictions. There's not much you can actually ride!!!!! Well done the EC, well thought out Even if you do this you have to take another test at 24 on a 'big' bike, over 53bhp before you can ride anything. As far as I can tell only the old Suzuki GS500 and Kawasaki ER-5 would fall into this power category, but these bikes are ancient now and would most likely be fooked by the time you ride them. As far as I can tell the new rules are entirely designed to keep young riders OFF motorbikes altogether and it's a big conspiracy and we are. All doomed
I would get in and get through your test Chaz, yo can take off your L plates etc. (I never had any hehe) but I wouldn't bother with this new restricted test, I'd be tempted to keep your WR until you're 24 unless any decent low-powered bikes come out in that time. You should've passed before January!
I got this a little wrong. The bike you PASS on needs to meet the above criteria, you can then RIDE anything up to 47bhp. Think CCM R35, Suzuki DR-Z400 Supermoto, CBR250, Ninja 250/300, Honda NC700, Yamaha 660 Supermoto Or a £24k hub-centre steered Bimota Tesi 3D with a restrictor kit.
Why do they have make things so complicated! I've been riding for 2+ years! i understand the younger ones that want to jump on anything with no experience but bloody hell give me a break hahaa
