Would that not affect the mpg quite dramatically? I'm just after a little extra pull for when i'm 2 up, nothing major, planning on getting an Mt-03 or an F800 later in the year, so i'll be leaving those for playtime haha.

i first went to 42 rear and then 44, with the 44 i now get an extra 10 miles before the fuel light comes on. have put lighter wheels on as well but they wouldn't make that much difference.

+10 over oem parts? Or +10 over the 42 rear? If you mean over the oem sprockets i'm pleasantly surprised! Seems to weigh in favor of going down a tooth on the front and up 2 on the rear to see how it goes, pehaps +4 if i feel it needs a bit more kick, i have a feeling its going to be a little bit of trial and error with this haha.

I would just change the front and see how you go, understand the differences, then change the rear.

not me;) no wheelies and no breaking solid white lines, those are the two things that you've got just about no chance of talking your way out of if plod catches you;)

Right, seems like i'm going to do a bit of trial and error here, just -1 on the front first, then +2 on the rear if i dont feel happy (and so on). I don't fancy buying ebays finest as it has a habit of being cheap tat, where would you suggest as a good place for them? (Going to go for a new chain once i've decided on the correct sprocket set up for me.)
