I have old bikes. GT550, CB250, get cheap oil but changed about every thousand miles, filter every other change. Triumph 900 annually or 4000, filter every time, decent oil. MotoGuzzi T3 (when it's on the road) every 1500, filter every 5th change, adequate oil for a 50 year old tractor design!
I don't punish my car on trackdays doing 140 mph on the Bentley straight at Snetterton like I do my bike.
I last changed my oil about 2 months ago did 45 miles and have just changed it again haha Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
600miles, 2500miles, 5000miles! Just hit 8000miles and will change again by Monday! Each oil change has had a filter change also! It was on the 2500 oil change I didn't put enough oil in and the oil light came on! Opps (shadow from fairing on oil level viewing glass did not help) but lesson learnt from that one!
