    That date you suggested daz in August i think ive a family wedding that date, But its like yer dad says if you just dont pick a date you,ll never do it and you cant please everyone , There will be plenty of other times im sure .

    i had the idea of doing the same thing sometime last week, just taking up a few disposable bbq's and a 2 man tent + petrol money not a clue about the roads up there never been scotland, put i plan on keeping an eye on this thread, hope ya enjoy bud

    hey zombie how are you fella, me and the boy, young bikenutter and a good maybe from adam are going up there over the 1st weekend in august if you want to join in feel free.

    pics are mint paul, some of the roads look like they are built for bikes, whats the old bill like up there.

    They are non existent above loch lomond ! You rarely see a bike/car cop ! Speed cameras have not even been invented yet up there !
    Been every year some times twice during past ten years ! Prob seen three cops driving and they were heading to a crash

    The isle of Skye is like a public TT course ! Had the bike bouncing of the limiter in top and on a fire blade that's travelling at erm.......over three miles a minute !

    If you take the motorways below and around Glasgow the M74 , unmarked police are their in abundance just dont speed around that area

    I did four hundred miles around Argyll and Bute over Easter and only saw one cop out of the towns. Some fantastic roads, but also plenty in need of some TLC
