It actually wasnt a piss take, unless i change my mind again before hand. If it was a half decent a road then i'f happily bike it but a boring m6 journey is now beginning to look like to much.

Dont listen to them kev im happy goin in the van. Saves tyres and miles on the bike. Lets get ot sorted van upto dump freezer haha then ride on the van will be waitin for the last stop failing that could hire a van and drop it off in scotland and re rent one for the trip back I will look at pricrs now.

Listen carefully I will say this only once (AGAIN) we are not going more than approx. 70 miles on the motorway this is a BIKE TRIP. I have posted the route TWICE but never mind eh I'll just talk to myself. If you're gonna be a bunch of jessies I'm quite happy to ride up alone. I can ride in the rain, I can read a map and I have waterproofs. In fact rode through horrendous conditions right up to Shap last year, didn't bother me and was dry by lunchtime and riding around Loch Lomond in the sunshine. Man up and practice riding in the rain!
I'm happy with that van to dumfies dumfies upwards on the bikes, ridr the entire trip dumfies home.... End of
Have you thought about where you will leave a van while your off riding round scotland? Also is one of you over 25? a lot of hire firms ask for this. Where is your first night stop? Inverness? tbh i think your wasting money if you hire a van. but each to their own.
Kev and Ryan if you want to take a van up to scotland you do that i was worried about the ride up there, thats why we have spilt it into 2 days as you cant spilt the days... do what is best for you...i want us all the enjoy this trip....end off
Ryan. There will be a supplement charge for hiring a van one way ! I know !! Your looking around £100 each way. Supplement. That's £200 plus the hire £120 that's £320 plus fuel. Say £60. So your £380 out of pocket before you even have a beer with us. Are you fucking mad ?
