Good to meet a few more new faces yesterday and great to meet Cotty after a few years. Not a bad ride and I'm not gonna mention the group getting split up. But it was Martins fault he struggles with directions and he is a cock for smoking his rear without giving me a chance to get out the way. theyre supposed to flex - same as the firestorm - active flex mr honda calls it. you can totally fk the handling by bracing the swing arm etc. for the track a trick is to undo the centre engine mount to make it flex even more....
me and the lad on the ninja turned right, but by the time we heard you lot coming it was 40 mins later. was on the verge of going back looking cos we thought someone must have binned - theres no fkin way anyone could be so far back unless somethings happened, especially seeing as the last 20 miles we'd spent at 40-50 behind a copper which should have been plenty of time to regroup. then we heard scotts bike coming in the distance. by that time there was no point trying to catch the others. tried ringing them but was no answer so they were obviously riding, so took the decision to go towards aberystwyth, as we'd all agreed to anyway before we left rhug. turning left will still get you to aber but puts about 60 mile on the journey. may have been a mystery tour for you as you dont know the roads, but ive been riding them roads for 30 fkin years so know exactly where im going and how long it takes to get from a to b - or how long it should take lol :/ you can all find your own way next time. you can all point the finger all you want - from the meeting point - at lowton maccies, it was agreed j19 m6, so i set off at the back of you all. got to the mway doing 55mph and was overtook by 2 trucks so thought fk this sh*t and carried on to j19, as agreed. only to find you lot had took another turnoff. got to j&s, nobody there, nobody answering fone or text so left messages to say id meet you at rhug. got a text back saying nobody knew the way, so i sent another text saying mold maccies then - no reply. so off i ride to mold maccies, no fker there. so fk it, i'll go to rhug only to find everyone had been there ages. fortunately had a good ride down there or wouldve been thoroughly pissed off. why the fk did no-one think to return the text / calls to save me fucking about waiting for a fkin hour on my own. so we set off from rhug agreeing to go straight through bala, dollgellau, machynlleth into aberystwyth. machynlleth is the left turning - right takes you to betwsy coed and tywyn which iirc were not discussed. the faster riders turned off right and we waited (for fkin ages) then took the previously agreed route. i lost count the number of times i had to pull up waiting and i dont ride that fkin fast. so enough of this martin this martin that sh*t cos it totally pissed me off if im honest and i wont be doing it again. next time if people get lost or get too far back, tough fkin sh*t they best make sure theyve got a map or satnav on their fone cos i'll be carrying on. i dont see anyone else getting any sh*t here and theyre the ones who carried on without bothering to wait or see if you lot were ok, so next time i'll be doing the same, enjoying my ride at my pace. end of rant. end of fkin thread as far as im concerned.
